If you're heading to , set an early alarm. No. 3 Utah (8-0, 5-0) hosts No. 9 BYU (7-1, 4-1) at 10 a.m. MST on ABC, the first-ever top-10 game in the rivalry.

It's also the first 10 a.m. kick for the rivalry since 1996. Utah fan Stuart Spencer's tailgate group plans to arrive the night before, and BYU coach Kalani Sitake said the menu is "probably more breakfast stuff."

The Utes and Cougars haven't had a 10 a.m. kick since then.

title hopes ride on it. A Utah win would make the Utes 6-0 in league play, while a BYU loss would give the Cougars a second conference loss and hand Utah the tiebreaker.

  • If Utah wins: it can afford one loss in its last three
  • If BYU loses: it needs Texas Tech and Houston to lose

Utah's Devon Dampier and BYU's Bear Bachmeier are both dual-threat quarterbacks who've hurt defenses with their feet.
