- ➤ Families in the Vineyard neighborhood are competing in a festive contest as they try to steal and safeguard a Baby Yoda inflatable. Neighbors set up booby traps & switch inflatables when damaged, and the holder by 9 a.m. after Christmas will be crowned the winner. FOX 13
- ➤ On Wednesday, families across Utah, including those in West Valley City, are reuniting for Christmas — some meeting loved ones for the first time while others honor long-standing traditions. FOX 13
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The University of Utah will offer its Master of Business Creation program in Europe starting August, 2026. Supported by the Lassonde Family Foundation, the program will enroll founding entrepreneurs from Belgium, France, Luxembourg + Netherlands. Deseret News

- ➤ State officials unveiled an online map that lets homeowners check wildfire risk and learn about fees on high-risk properties starting in 2026. The tool, developed after a new law passed, also shows how taking prevention measures can reduce fee costs. Daily Herald
