- ➤ Suzanne, a single mom with two children, is struggling to afford Christmas gifts after a new car raised her expenses and her work hours were cut; United Way's Sub for Santa program offers volunteer help to ease her load and bring holiday cheer. Daily Herald
- ➤ Springville residents Dave and Debbie Rowe started Roots to Rise International — a nonprofit for clean water and eye care — to help Guatemalan families with water filters and eyeglasses. Since January 2025, the nonprofit has provided water systems to 212 households and partnered with schools for better eye care. Daily Herald
- ➤ On Saturday, Santa fished along the Provo River near Vivian Park and shared festive fishing tips with local anglers; this cherished tradition has been upheld for four years. FOX 13

- ➤ The new Mountain View Corridor freeway opened Friday evening between Porter Rockwell Road in Herriman and 2100 North in Lehi, offering drivers an alternative to I-15 and easing traffic for thousands commuting from Eagle Mountain and Saratoga Springs (with future improvements planned).
