- ➤ Delta Air Lines completed its inaugural direct flight from Salt Lake City to Lima on Dec. 4, 2025, operating a Boeing 767-300ER that will run daily until Jan. 25 and was celebrated by local civic and business leaders + members of the Peruvian community. Deseret News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Leaders from Utah 2034, Park City and Summit County met Friday to discuss Olympic plans, focusing on transportation, security and economic opportunities. New mayor-elect Ryan Dickey will take charge in January as the community prepares for additional events in Deer Valley ahead of the Games. FOX 13
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ BYU secured Lone Peak twins Jaron and Kennan Pula for its 2026 recruiting class after they switched from Utah on Friday. Jaron is a four-star receiver+Kennan, a three-star who played defense, will join the Cougars, boosting the local program. Deseret News
