- ➤ The Salt Lake City church security team sent a letter on Thursday to local church leaders asking them to review meetinghouse safety plans after a Sept. 28 attack in Grand Blanc, Michigan left four dead. The letter advises leaders to lock only needed doors and plan for emergencies—steps to keep meetinghouses safe for all. Deseret News
