- ➤ A Utah woman was sentenced to 1–15 years in prison yesterday after pleading guilty to luring her husband to Utah so her family could have him shot—she also received an additional consecutive sentence for discharging a weapon. FOX 13
- ➤ Kathryn Restelli was sentenced to up to life in prison by a Provo judge after she lured her husband, Matthew, to his death in a calculated murder plot—she received consecutive sentences for second-degree felony murder, felony conspiracy to commit murder, and firearm discharge. KUTV

- ➤ The Utah Supreme Court will review an emergency request from the Legislature to pause a lower court's ruling that canceled the 2021 congressional maps. Judge Gibson revised her order to let the Legislature create new maps by Sept. 25—setting a timeline for public input—and lawmakers have until Thursday to file responses. Deseret News
