ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Several roads in Provo were closed after a mudslide during a microburst on Thursday afternoon—rain in the Buckley Draw Fire burn scar area triggered heavy debris that reached the church at Nevada Avenue and Slate Canyon Drive while crews worked to clear the roads and guide drivers to a detour at 1320 South Slate Canyon. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Bridal Veil Falls in Provo will undergo a $7 million reconstruction as Phase I begins Tuesday and lasts through July to add a park, picnic and play areas, improved trails, better parking, and roadway upgrades—while bridges to the falls and the lower parking lot are closed. Phase II will start in July 2026 and will reroute bike traffic and close the base trail until work is finished in October. FOX 13
