- ➤ Late Monday night, Judge Dianna Gibson ruled that Utah’s 2021 redistricting maps did not meet Proposition 4’s guidelines as they split Salt Lake County’s voting power and required lawmakers to draft a new map by Sept. 24th. Lawmakers and citizen groups can submit proposals on the same day—with objections due by Oct. 3rd and an evidentiary hearing set for Oct. 9th—14th. Deseret News
