Utah Food Bank acquired Utah Diaper Bank on Friday at the HomeAid Utah Diaper Drive in Draper—its new UFB Diaper Program will expand diaper distribution statewide to support local families.

The move follows the diaper bank’s distribution of nearly 2 million diapers in 2024 and promises sustainable growth to meet rising demand.

Shirley Ririe, a pioneer of modern dance who co-ran the Ririe Woodbury Modern Dance Company with Joanne Woodbury for 35 years, died on August 17 at age 96—she was known for inspiring generations and teaching children the joy of movement.
