- ➤ Family members ask residents in southern Idaho and northern Utah to help find 17-year-old Oakley Bennett, who was last seen leaving her mom's home in Preston, Idaho on August 9 — she is described as 5'2" and 145 lbs with brown eyes and black hair and may have been wearing blue jeans and white Nike high tops. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Utah narrowly missed breaking its driest July record after collecting only 0.25 inches of rain—a 125-year benchmark—with the summer on track to be the fifth-driest if less than a third of an inch falls by the end of August. A high-pressure system is set to bring monsoonal moisture later this week, which may create isolated showers and thunderstorms that could spark dry lightning. Deseret News
