  • Local show creators have brought back a dating show on YouTube called The Altar—renamed from the popular Provo's Most Eligible—to help 10 single men and 10 single women from Utah Valley find a match over three rounds. The reboot follows an earlier run that drew millions of viewers and over 1,500 applications before the COVID-19 break, and the team said they are riding a new wave of local interest in Utah dating.  Deseret News

  • A college football analyst said the Utes will bounce back in the upcoming season with fresh talent including transfer quarterback Devon Dampier and a strong defense, while BYU faces challenges with an unsettled quarterback battle after Jake Retzlaff’s suspension and departure — placing the Cougars on the sell list for 2025. The analyst credited returning veterans and a solid offensive line as key to Utah’s potential turnaround in the season.  Deseret News
