Good morning, Provo.

Provo residents will join America 250 celebrations on July 4 with the Freedom Festival Grand Parade on University Ave and Center Street, the Freedom Run at Kiwanis Park, and the Stadium of Fire at LaVell Edwards Stadium featuring Brad Paisley.

The festivities emphasize local patriotism with music & food trucks.

Residents from Eureka, Mammoth and Silver City will return home Sunday at noon after being evacuated by the Juab County Sheriff’s Office due to the Iron and Cherry fires — officials advise them to stay alert as the areas remain in set status amid ongoing wildfire activity.

Former BYU basketball star Elijah Bryant is on a summer break in Utah with his family as he prepares to welcome a new baby before returning to play for Hapoel Tel Aviv.

He balances international success abroad — a strong EuroLeague season — with close ties to his BYU roots.
