  • A fire started at a shooting range west of Utah Lake and spread over 37 acres before it was contained Sunday evening—helicopters and a fire engine joined crews to monitor the scene overnight.  KUTV

  • Fire crews responded to a 20-acre fire — burning near a shooting range west of Utah Lake in Utah County on June 15, as reports confirmed the blaze was contained nearby.  ABC4

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Four new film projects have been approved for state tax credits under Utah’s film incentive program, and state officials say the deals will boost the local economy. The projects include Y: Marshals—a Yellowstone spinoff starring Luke Grimes that will begin filming this fall in Summit County with a $52 million budget—along with a new season of The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch, independent film Keep Coming Back, and Netflix’s Freshman Inventors, all together expected to generate more than 380 jobs and an estimated $57.4 million in economic impact.  Standard-Examiner
