The Utah Supreme Court declined to review Kouri Richins’ appeal to move her murder trial from Summit County to Salt Lake County—prosecutors asked a judge on Friday to lift the stay and set a new trial date in Summit County.

Provo OBGYN David Broadbent—77 and previously sued by 50 victims in 2022—is now facing ten new felony charges, including object rape and forcible sexual abuse from cases dating to 2004 and 2020 that bring his total to 29 felonies, with a preliminary hearing set for July 22 and a jury trial scheduled for March 2026.
