ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Utah County Search and Rescue rescued an injured hiker in Provo Canyon near Bridal Veil Falls on Sunday, June 8 — the hiker possibly dislocated an ankle and was treated without needing hospitalization.  KUTV
  • A man was seriously injured after being impaled by a stick while rappelling in Alpine on Sunday morning as rescue crews used a LifeFlight helicopter to remove him from the mountain and transport him to a hospital.  KUTV

  • United Health Foundation’s 2025 Senior Health Report ranked Utah fourth for senior health, praising high volunteer rates and active lifestyles as seen in seniors like Bonnie Shepherd.
