  • Renewed Middle East tensions drove oil futures higher on Monday & ended a week of falling prices. Utah gas stations along I-15 in Lehi keep rates above the national average, and experts warn that record-low inventories may lead to further increases.  Deseret News

  • Utah Senate President Stuart Adams sent a letter to developer Kevin O’Leary asking to reduce the Stratos Project from 40,000 to 10,000 acres and adopt stricter water and wildlife rules — the request comes amid state reviews of the data center project.  Deseret News

SPORTS NEWS

  • The Utah Royals extended their unbeaten streak to 10 games with a 2-2 tie at Portland Thorns on Saturday, and they will play Chicago Stars on Sunday, July 5 at 3 p.m. as they chase their first playoff appearance.  Deseret News
