Sundance Mountain Resort in Provo Canyon is expanding with a new high-speed quad lift called Electric Horseman Express scheduled to open for the 2026-27 season and 60 acres of new terrain with nine trails opening in 2025-26 — the move aims to attract destination skiers while keeping the local charm.

The Bonneville Shoreline Trail (started in 1989) has connected communities along the Wasatch Front for over 30 years, stretching 170 miles today with plans to reach 400 miles through recent work in Herriman, Pleasant Grove, and Cache County.
