- ➤ Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn delivered an inspiring commencement address to USC new grads on Friday, May 15, recalling her recovery from a crash at the Winter Games and urging them to learn from falls — her message stressed that setbacks can pave the way for future success. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ UDOT will install a second set of flex lanes on Pioneer Crossing between Mill Pond Road and 500 West from Monday at 11 p.m. to Tuesday at 4 a.m. to ease rush-hour traffic in Lehi and neighboring communities — the project is expected to finish by year’s end. KUTV
- ➤ Stevie, a 2-year-old cocker spaniel, joined the Utah County Sheriff’s Office as a detection dog yesterday after being donated by Judy Shafer, who praised her hunt drive and friendly personality. KUTV
