- ➤ Lake Powell is expected to receive its lowest natural snowmelt inflows since the 1960s amid record-low snowpack and near-record drought lowering the Provo River runoff. State leaders are bracing for water restrictions — officials plan to act to manage the severe drought. Deseret News
