- ➤ On Wednesday, April 29 in Salt Lake City, DEA agent Miguel Chino and U.S. attorney Melissa Holyoak reported record fentanyl pill seizures (204,000 pills in the first quarter and 2 million last year) and warned that cartels mixing these drugs with others continue to threaten community safety. - ➤ A new Utah law will require e-bike, e-scooter and e-motorcycle riders under 21 to wear helmets that meet safety standards starting May 6 - measures aimed at reducing head injuries among young riders. Officials say the law responds to rising accident rates. Deseret News
