- ➤ At Timpanogos Park, hundreds of volunteers gathered today for the 10th anniversary of the annual Fish for Garbage cleanup event along the Provo River—organizers expect to remove about 10,000 pounds of trash during Earth Week. FOX 13

- ➤ A man detained Friday for allegedly brandishing a gun at Provo Town Center was arrested after police searched his Orem apartment and found 71 homemade bombs and related materials — officials said the devices contained shrapnel and explosive powders that posed serious risks. Deseret News
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Utah had a mixed snowpack season—northern areas got enough moisture while southern areas did not, prompting Governor Cox to issue two emergency orders to address wildfire and drought risks as the snow melts.
