  • Teens seeking summer work should apply now using the Utah Department of Workforce Services website, which lists over 25,000 jobs from food service to retail; local libraries and career centers also offer internships and coaching + help students gain skills and competitive pay.  Deseret News

  • Utah Valley University and Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions announced an agreement that lets qualified physical therapy students start graduate courses during their senior year at UVU and finish their doctorate sooner — a move that could help meet local health care needs.  Deseret News

  • The Mammoth clinched a wild-card playoff spot with a 4-1 win over Nashville on Thursday night; strong goaltending and balanced scoring helped the team reach the postseason for the first time in six years (since the 2020 NHL playoff bubble).  Daily Herald
