  • The Church announced that Rosemary K. Chibota, of Malawian origin from South Jordan, will lead the Primary general presidency starting Aug. 1, 2026, marking the first time an African has held the office with Sister Nina M. Garfield and Sister Theresa A. Collins as counselors.  Deseret News

  • The 196th Annual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints concluded (April 4–5) at the Conference Center in Salt Lake City with live coverage, photos, and video provided by the Deseret News Faith team.  Deseret News
