- ➤ Brad Paisley will headline the Stadium of Fire + a local celebration at LaVell Edwards Stadium on July 4, featuring tributes to military and civilian heroes and performances by Nitro Circus, GENTRI, and the Stadium of Fire Dancers; tickets go on sale April 10 at 10 a.m. for subscribers and at noon for the public. - ➤ Thanksgiving Point’s Tulip Festival at Ashton Gardens will start Monday, Apr. 6, and feature over 350,000 new tulips planted amid cooler weather that helps them bloom longer. Horticulture director Tony Latimer said the early bloom marks the six-week event amid water conservation efforts. FOX 13

- ➤ Utah Valley University and Rocky Mountain University announced an accelerated pathway that lets qualified health science and exercise science students start graduate-level physical therapy coursework one year early, with classes set to begin in summer at RMU's campus. Daily Herald
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ UDOT plans to pave a 7.5-mile trail along Deer Creek Reservoir between Soldier Hollow and the Deer Creek Dam trailhead. The project will cost over $19 million, feature a 10-12-ft paved path plus a gravel shoulder for horses, and begin construction in about four years. KUTV
