- ➤ Utah startup Tarifflo, founded at Utah State University, won a $20,000 prize on March 22 for its AI platform that automates international trade documentation faster than older systems. The company already has publicly traded clients and will work with freight and customs brokers as it prepares to expand its trade compliance and supply chain management services—helping companies navigate new tariff regulations. - ➤ College students at Utah's eight public colleges will pay more tuition next year—an average 2.23% rise—officials said, noting it is the lowest increase in nearly ten years. FOX 13

- ➤ Gov. Spencer Cox’s housing adviser said a recent poll by Noble Predictive Insights showed many Utahns—especially those under 30—have thought about leaving due to high home prices, as the state plans to build 35,000 starter homes over the next five years. Deseret News
- ➤ Lawmakers introduced the Bonneville Shoreline Trail Feasibility Study Act on Thursday to launch a study that will check if the trail qualifies as a National Scenic Trail (stretching from Traverse Mountain in Lehi to Y Mountain in Provo) and can unlock federal funds for future planning and upkeep. The study will review geographic features, cultural significance, public access and needed improvements while receiving backing from local conservation groups. Daily Herald

- ➤ After losing in the Sweet 16 to Alabama, BYU has reportedly added forward Dominique Diomande from Washington—he did not play for the Huskies and played in France’s U21 league—and he is expected to help the team next season. Deseret News
