  • A Utah-based company reached 1+ billion video relay calls that let deaf users sign messages to interpreters who then voice responses, easing direct communication. The free service continues to connect locals with clear, real-time video calls.  KUTV

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Gas prices in Utah jumped $1.38 this month, reaching $4.16 in Salt Lake while local prices in Orem/Provo are at $4.14 and recent data shows similar rises in nearby Logan & Ogden.  KUTV

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Utah County and Lehi City signed an interlocal agreement Wednesday that will fund $2.8 million for a 12-foot paved segment of the Utah Lake Trail Project from Lehi’s North Shore Park to 1100 West Lake Shore Drive in American Fork, while Lehi pays $12.6 million for a nearby roadway project.  Daily Herald
