- ➤ Elected officials, including American Fork Mayor Brad Frost, are joining Meals on Wheels deliveries from March 16 to 27 to bring warm meals and community connections to 1,000 to 1,200 homebound seniors in Utah, Wasatch, and Summit counties and help clear a waiting list of 500 seniors. - ➤ Hot, dry conditions trigger an early wildfire season, and Gunnison Valley Fire Department urgently needs volunteer firefighters who receive free training for varied roles.
