- ➤ A Provo woman was arrested on two third-degree felony child endangerment charges after her 13-year-old daughter attempted suicide in unsafe living conditions—lacking basic necessities and exposing the child to illicit drugs and sexual abuse—that prompted police action and led to the removal of her daughter and 9-year-old son by child services. - ➤ Provo police are asking residents for help in finding a suspect after two shooting incidents occurred on 600 South between 1600 and 700 West on March 9 and 10—officials have released a vehicle image and urged local businesses to check door camera footage. KUTV
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Utah County Commission released the proposed boundaries and seats for three new school districts from the Alpine School District split during a Wednesday meeting, with committee chair Mac Sims presenting the maps. The districts will each have seven seats—based on 2023 population data—and the final maps will be adopted on March 26 after public review. Daily Herald
