- ➤ On Wednesday, 17 human-caused avalanches occurred across Utah, mostly near Salt Lake, after heavy snowfall, with no injuries reported. The Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office advised backcountry visitors to check conditions and carry avalanche gear + stay safe. FOX 13

- ➤ Patti Wheeler, whose son Wyatt died after using Kratom, urged lawmakers at the state Capitol on Thursday to consider new limits on the supplement as a documentary screening raised health concerns (debate continues amid conflicting views on its proper use). KUTV
- ➤ Intermountain Children’s Health announced its Pediatric Telestroke Network on Thursday to help children in Utah and southern Idaho reach stroke specialists at Primary Children’s Hospital quickly.
