  • Mary, a 38-year-old western lowland gorilla at Hogle Zoo, is expecting a baby with a birth window through mid-March. Animal care teams are monitoring her progress through voluntary training (including ultrasounds) while preparing extra hay bedding in case of labor.  Standard-Examiner

  • Local testers looked over the 2026 Nissan Armada NISMO Edition at Provo Epic Sports Park, noting its two-tone gray and black look, roomy interior, and strong performance on I-15 and Provo Canyon. Buyers can expect an SUV that works well for both fast drives and daily errands.  Daily Herald

HEALTH NEWS

  • Teal Health launched an FDA-approved at-home cervical cancer screening kit to help Utah women overcome testing delays. The kit (for women aged 30-65) lets users collect a sample at home and mail it for lab results.  FOX 13

  • Brooklyn Nets rookie Egor Dëmin returned to Utah last week where he broke an NBA record and met Elder Ronald A. Rasband at BYU (arranged by Travis Hansen), saying the encounter deepened his faith and reinforced his appreciation for BYU’s culture and unity.  Deseret News
