  • Utah purchased US Magnesium’s 4,500 acres on Great Salt Lake’s southwest shore and 144,000 acre-feet in water rights on Tuesday for $30 million to restore the lake — DNR Director Joel Ferry and Gov. Spencer Cox say the deal improves lake health, air quality and quality of life.  Deseret News
