Good morning, Provo.

Utah's offensive coordinator Jason Beck is leaving after one season to join Michigan's staff — with receivers coach Micah Simon, tight ends coach Freddie Whittingham, and quarterbacks coach Koy Detmer Jr. — following a season in which his offensive scheme raised scoring and rushing totals to top national ranks.

Michigan hired Jay Hill as its new defensive coordinator after a three-year run at BYU, where he transformed the defense into one of the top units.

He reunites with head coach Kyle Whittingham (with whom he worked for 15 seasons at Utah) as BYU works to fill his role.
